The Twin Cities Grade Level Meet was held on Tuesday, September 15 at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis. Como Park had numerous excellent performances on a hot afternoon over the rutted terrain. Nate Rue led Como's large group of sophomore boys, winning his division in a sprint finish. His time was 18:48.
Also in the sophomore boys division, Carl Kron set a personal best of 24:47, a remarkable performance given the difficult conditions. Congratulations to all who competed.
The Como Park teams compete this Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Roy Griak Invitational at University of Minnesota's Les Bolstad Golf Course. The boys run at 3:10, the girls at 3:55.
