Section 4AA Meet Results
The Como Park cross country team concluded its season Wednesday, October 28, with the Section 4AA meet at Goodrich Golf Course in Maplewood. The girls team captured 12th place, and the boys took 13th. Seniors Leah Roth, Alisha Wilbur, and Jane Kramer led the charge for the Cougar girls. Sophomores Nate Rue, Chris Hutton, and junior Evan Hanson led the youthful boys team.

Celebration of Coach Dumas's Life
Coach Dick Dumas, founder of the Como Park Nordic ski program, passed away recently after a long battle with mesothelioma, a form of lung cancer. He will be deeply missed by our entire community. Friends and family will gather tomorrow, Thursday, October 22, to celebrate his life. Details are available HERE.

Pike Island Challenge Results
Como Park cross country faced conference rivals Highland Park, Johnson, and Humboldt on Tuesday at Pike Island. Both the boys and girls took second in the team scoring, and Nate Rue captured the boys individual title in a personal best time of 17:35.
Strong performances and favorable conditions led to an abundance of personal best times for the Cougars. The team appears to be rounding into excellent shape in preparation for the Conference Meet, which will be held Tuesday, October 20 at Conway Rec.

THU: Blaine Invitational @ Majestic Oaks Golf Course. Ham Lake, MN. Bus leaves @ 2:20 p.m. Returns to school @ 6:45 p.m.
