Section Results

Section 4AA results are posted HERE. This link pulls up the Varsity Boys. Select other races from the drop down menu to see the other races.

The Como Park boys finished 11th, and the girls were 13th. The boys advanced two runners to the state meet: Tahir Hashim, 11th in 16:33, and Marshal Landrum, 15th in 16:44. State will be held on Saturday, November 3rd at St. Olaf College in Northfield. Congratulations to Tahir, Marshal, and all the runners who completed their season today!

1)      Section Meet @ U of M Golf Course on Wed. Last meet for most of the team. Leave it all out there!
2)      Make sure to come Friday to turn in stuff, vote, and do the season ending Cougar game – the scavenger hunt.
3)      If you have photos, bring them on a CD or jump drive on Friday.


MON: 2:30 p.m. 2-3 mile warmup + 4-5x150M

TUE: Football toss + Easy run + drills/strides. 2-3 miles.
Last practice of season for most of the team!

TUE: 2:30 p.m. Core + Distance run

WED: 2:30 p.m. Warmup + Hill sprints + weights

THU: 9:00 a.m. Practice @ school. Distance run.

FRI: 9:00 a.m. Practice @ Klein’s. 860 Ivy. 1000M repeats. (2-3 reps)
Breakfast after run.

SAT: No practice. Easy run on your own (3-6 miles)

SUN: No practice. Rest day.

Pike Island Meet Info

4:00 Girls 4k
4:30 Boys 5k

Boy's race start next to the bridge to the island, Girl's race will start 1000 meters around the island. Both races finish near the bridge. Parking is available either by entering the state park (follow signs from Hwy. 5) or at Fort Snelling itself (exit Hwy. 5 to Hwy 55 west, then exit to Ft. Snelling). If you park at the Fort rather than in the state park, be aware that there is a fairly steep hill to walk down to get to Pike Island.

4)      Let’s be extra supportive of our teammates this week: cheer during all races, help out the less experienced runners wherever possible.
